Terms of Service

Last updated: June 16, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) apply to your use of the https://commonsenselawyer.com/ website (the “Service”), operated by Panko Collaborative Law (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access the Service.

No Legal Advice

The information on this Service is provided for general informational purposes only and reflects general principles of Saskatchewan family law. It is not legal advice and is not a substitute for advice from a lawyer about your specific situation. Laws change and apply differently to different circumstances. You should not act, or refrain from acting, based on anything on this Service without obtaining legal advice from a qualified lawyer licensed in your jurisdiction.

No Solicitor-Client Relationship

Using this Service, contacting us through it, submitting a contact or intake form, or sending us an email does not create a solicitor-client relationship between you and Panko Collaborative Law. A solicitor-client relationship is established only after we have confirmed in writing that we are able to act for you, completed any required conflict checks, and entered into a signed retainer (engagement) agreement with you. Until then, contacting us doesn’t make you our client, and we aren’t able to give you legal advice or act on your behalf.

Do Not Send Confidential or Time-Sensitive Information

Because contacting us does not create a solicitor-client relationship, please do not send us any confidential, sensitive, or time-sensitive information through this Service, by web form, or by email until we have formally agreed to act for you. Information you send before a retainer is in place may not be treated as confidential or privileged, and unsolicited information will not prevent us from acting for another person in the same or a related matter. If your matter is urgent, please contact us by telephone.

Use of the Website

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the Service by, anyone else. You agree not to:

  • use the Service in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, the server on which it is hosted, or any connected database or system;
  • introduce any virus, malware, or other malicious or harmful material; or
  • copy, scrape, reproduce, republish, or redistribute any part of the Service except as expressly permitted in these Terms.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality — including text, graphics, logos, images, and the design of the site — are and will remain the property of Panko Collaborative Law and its licensors, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages from the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you may not otherwise reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

Links To Other Web Sites

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Panko Collaborative Law.

Panko Collaborative Law has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Panko Collaborative Law shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.

Testimonials and Results

Any testimonials, reviews, or descriptions of past matters that appear on the Service reflect individual experiences and outcomes. Every family law matter is different, and prior results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future matter.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle personal information. Please review it carefully.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that the information on it is accurate, complete, or current.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Panko Collaborative Law and its lawyers and staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising out of or in connection with your access to, use of, or inability to use the Service, or your reliance on any content on it.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding the Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use the Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, please stop using the Service.
